  • Many of us know the George Santayana quote, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." Well, when it comes to learning from the plight of refugees in wartime, be they from the Middle East amid the Iraq War or be it during World War II amid the Holocaust, it seems that Saxby Chambliss, Elizabeth Dole, Pete Domenici, Mitch McConnell, and John Warner are not too keen on remembering the past.

  • Georgia & South Carolina: A group of xenophobic conservatives who helped oust Republican Michigan Senator Spencer Abraham back in 2000 will aim their wrath at Saxby Chambliss and Lindsey Graham if the two support bipartisan immigration reform.

  • New Hampshire: While Katrina Swett does little to ingratiate herself to the netroots, Portsmouth Mayor Steve Marchand offers the blogosphere a very warm hello.
